(LEARFIELD) ATLANTA – The 2025 Major League All-Star Game ended in a 6-6 tie Tuesday night when the National League gave up two runs in the top of the ninth.
The NL had led 6-0 after the sixth and eventually won on what was called a “swing-off,” like a home run derby.
The two Milwaukee Brewers pitchers who took the mound kept the visiting American League off the scoreboard in Atlanta.
Trevor Megill retired the only batter he faced in the seventh on four pitches.
Rookie Jacob Misiorowski allowed a hit but pitched a scoreless eighth inning. Misiorowski reached 100+ mph 9 times. He is the 6th pitcher to deliver at least 10 pitches that reached 99 mph in an all-star game since 2008. He had 11 such pitches.
The Brewers are off again tonight and Thursday, then resume the regular season in Los Angeles against the Dodgers Friday.
