(247NEWSSOURCE/WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers had their series-opener against the New York Mets pushed back.
The first game of Milwaukee’s series against the Mets was postponed due to inclement weather.
The teams will play a double-header today.
Freddy Peralta is scheduled to start game one with Jacob Misiorowski taking the hill in the nightcap.
The Mets will counter with Clay Holmes in the first game. He is 8-4 with a 2.97 ERA. In the second game, the Mets will start Blade Tidwell who is 0-1 with a 10.13 ERA>
The first game of the doubleheader can be heard on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL beginning at 11:35 with the pre-game and 12:10 with the first pitch.
The second game of the doubleheader will begin with a 5:35 pre-game and 6:10 first pitch on 1360 and 97.5 WTAQ.
In other news, the team called up Anthony Seigler to make his big league debut. He is hitting .277 with seven homers and 35 RBIs with Triple-A Nashville this season.
