(LEARFIELD/247NEWSSOURCE) – The Milwaukee Brewers took home a series win with a 4-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
The Brewers scored all four of their runs in the second inning, with Joey Ortiz, Eric Haase, Sal Frelick and Christian Yelich each driving in a run.
Jacob Misiorowski earned the victory, allowing two hits and striking out eight batters across five shutout innings before Trevor Megill locked down the save.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about what his message was to Misiorowski before the rookie pitched in front of a packed house.
