GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Wednesday belongs to the kids in Green Bay.
The city kicked off its annual Kids’ Day celebration with kid mayors arriving at City Hall to join Mayor Genrich and his staff.
This year brothers Ivan and Ryatt won the contest to be co-mayors of Green Bay for the day.
Ivan and Ryatt read the Kids’ Day Proclamation in council chambers for a swearing-in ceremony Wednesday.
Kids’ Day features a variety of activities and attractions that are free or discounted for kids across the city.
With a Kids’ Day wristband, families can enjoy events at Bay Beach Amusement Park, local parks, libraries, and more.
The day’s highlights include the Meal with the Mayor, games, and special activities hosted by community partners.
