(WNFL) GRAND CHUTE – The Kewaunee Storm will play for the WIAA Division 3 state baseball title on Thursday after defeating Fennimore 5-3.
Kewaunee scored twice in the fourth and 3 times in the fifth to account for its runs.
In the fourth, Brady Pribek tripled home a pair of runs for Kewaunee.
In the fifth, Kewaunee’s runs scored on a pair of walks and a pair of errors.
Brett Paulsen got the win for Kewaunee (18-5), allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and a walk while striking out 8 over 5 innings.
Waylon Delain pitched a perfect final 2 innings to get the save.
Tyson Starkey took the loss for Fennimore (25-4).
Kewaunee will face Kenosha St. Joseph, a 14-4 winner over Barron in the other semfinal, for the title on Thursday.
