(LEARFIELD) – Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Schwellenbach went the distance in a 6-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
The Atlanta series victory was its first in more than three weeks.
Rookie Chad Patrick absorbed the defeat.
Patrick said that it was feast or famine for him today.
He talked about his outing.
And about the 2 home runs he gave up.
Rhys Hoskins hit his 10th home run and catcher Eric Hasse doubled in Milwaukee second run.
The Brewers have struggled to score during the home stand, first against the San Diego Padres and now against the Braves.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about the offense so far on this homestand.
Murphy also talked about dropping 2 of 3 to the Braves.
Christian Yelich was out of the lineup for a second straight time.
The Brewers hook up with the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday night.
