(GREEN BAY PACKERS) – Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney has a big goal for the upcoming NFL season. He wants to be part of the best defense in the NFL.
Packers-dot-com quotes McKinney as saying: “I’m not going to let off the gas for nothing or nobody.”
Going into his second season at Lambeau Field, he has an even bigger long-term goal.
McKinney aspires to have an outstanding career that earns him induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame someday. You can bet that the team hopes he achieves both goals.
Keep some and cut some: The Packers made a roster move on Monday. The team waived wide receiver Jadon Janke with an injury designation. Green Bay signed Janke as an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota State in May. The Packers will hold their second practice of the week today.
