(LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about a wide range of things Wednesday with OTAs underway in Green Bay.
Among them, Sean Rhyan serving as the Packers backup center to Elgton Jenkins.
LaFleur also talked about the wide receiver group and how their looking.
LaFleur said that during OTAs, one of his goals is to get the veteran players to serve in a leadership role.
One area the Packers are looking for improvement this season is in the pash rush. LaFleur was asked where that can come from.
Bleacher Report critical of Love: The Packers added deep threat Matthew Golden in the 2025 NFL Draft, but it is up to quarterback Jordan Love to use him.
The team is hoping Love can improve upon a season where he passed for nearly 34 hundred yards, with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Bleacher Report-dot-com says Green Bay “isn’t quite a true contender” because its quarterback isn’t consistent.
The Packers did lead the league with 38 explosive plays. Love has a strong arm but often lacks accuracy, according to the report.
