(LEARFIELD) – The Indiana Pacers took a 40-30 lead after 1 quarter and even though the Bucks cut the deficit to 2 points late in the game, Indiana hung on for a 123-115 win over the Bucks in Indianapolis.
The loss puts the Bucks in a 2-0 hole heading into Game 3 on Friday.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said that they had runs but couldn’t get key stops.
River said that he’s had enough with techical fouls with the refs having to go to the monitors to figure things out.
Rivers said that another slow start is why the team is down 0-02.
He said that they may be down but the series isn’t over yet.
Bucks center Brook Lopez said that they fell behind out of the gates.
Lopez talked about what needs to change for Game 3.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points and 18 rebounds and Bobby Portis came off the bench to add 28 points and 12 boards, but Damian Lillard returned to play 37 minutes and score just 14 points on 4 of 13 shooting
