(LEARFIELD) – Milwaukee Brewers bats exploded for eight runs in the eighth inning, blowing a 3-1 game wide open Tuesday night in San Francisco.
The 11-3 decision evens the four-game series going into Wednesday night’s game.
Jose Quintana picked up his third win while Brice Turang went four-for-four and Christian Yelich knocked in four runs.
Yelich and Jake Bauers belted home runs.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said the team had the bats going.
Murphy said that a lot of the hits came with 2 strikes and 2 outs in the eighth inning.
Murphy added that right now Quintana is the team’s most confident pitcher.
