(LEARFIELD) – Fourth place is out of reach, but the Milwaukee Bucks have a good shot at the fifth seed from the NBA’ s Eastern Conference after whipping New Orleans 136-111 in Milwaukee on Thursday.
Two games are left in the regular season against the Pistons, and Milwaukee needs to win one.
For the first time in four games, Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t have a triple-double in the Pelicans game Thursday, but he still filled the stat sheet with 28 points and 11 rebounds.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers talked about the plan moving forward with 2 games left in the regular season.
Rivers said that he tried to get guys extra rest in the 2nd half.
Rivers talked about Kevin Porter Jr. who scored 20 points.
Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma said that the Bucks are playing well.
But, he added, there are more meaningful games to come.
Milwaukee plays in Detroit Friday night.
