(247NEWSSOURCE) DENVER – The Milwaukee Brewers clubbed three home runs in a series-opening 7-1 win over the Rockies in Denver.
Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and William Contreras all homered in the seventh inning for Milwaukee in the victory.
Freddy Peralta earned the win on the mound, allowing a run and striking out six batters in five innings.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Peralta’s pitching performance.
Murphy also talked about the Brewers’ 3-run home run inning.
Brenton Doyle hit a solo shot, accounting for Colorado’s lone run in the loss.
The Rockies dropped to 2-and-8.
