But Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy thinks the owners will eventually do away with the play that the Philadelphia Eagles made famous.
He thinks there’s a good chance the “Tush Push” will eventually go away.
Murphy said that the play brought on problems.
Murphy said that if the league wants to be consistent, they’ll ban this play.
Packers flag football league? Professional flag football could be right around the corner.
According to ESPN, ten groups have submitted bids to the NFL to become investors in new men’s and women’s professional flag football leagues.
That round of bids will reportedly close this week. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday that there is a lot of interest in the development of pro flag football leagues and he expects there will be progress soon.
The NFL counts more than 750-thousand participants in its NFL flag football league nationwide, with all 32 franchises also sponsoring their own leagues.
