(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers didn’t up double-digit runs Tuesday night.
In fact, rookie Chad Patrick and four relievers cleaned things up in a 5-0 win over Kansas City.
Milwaukee came into the game with a staff ERA of 12-point-27.
Patrick was battling illness but still made the start.
He said that he had been sent home from Monday’s game to rest for Tuesday’s start.
Patrick talked about his outing.
Eric Haase and Christian Yelich pounded home runs.
Haase talked about how his 2-run homer gave the Brewers the lead.
He also talked about getting that first win after 4 losses.
Abner Uribe got the win in relief.
