(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Atlanta Hawks embarrassed the Milwaukee Bucks in Milwaukee at FiServ Forum 145-124 Sunday night.
Milwaukee outscored the Hawks 44-37 in the first quarter but over the next 2 quaters it was all Atlanta.
The Hawks outscored the Bucks 81-48.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers talked about the loss and the poor transition defense.
And how the Bucks got outscored 36-17 during third quarter.
Rivers said that it’s not just turnoves and offenseive rebounds that are causing them problems.
The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetekounmpo who scored 31 points. Kevin Porter Jr. and Kyle Kuzma added 28 and 25 points, respectively.
Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma said that the team has to have some pride.
And they’ve got to figure out the problems.
Atlanta which ended a 2-game losing streak was led by Zaccharie Risacher with 36 points. Dyson Daniels sciored 22 points while Trae Young and Georges Niang added 19 and 17 points, respectively.
Young also had 19 assists.
Milwaukee has now lost 4 straight and will play host to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
