(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers put a bow on spring training Monday, wrapping it up with a 4-2 win over the Colorado Rockies.
Sal Frelick had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs for the Brewers.
Jose Anderson also drove in a pair of runs for Milwaukee.
Nestor Cortes started and went 5 innings for Milwaukee, allowing 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5.
Will Childers pitched 1/3 of an inning of relief and got the win.
The Brewers open the regular season on Thursday in New York against the Yankees.
