(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers are addressing both sides of the ball in free agency.
ESPN reports that the team agreed to deals with Aaron Banks and Nate Hobbs yesterday.
Banks is joining Green Bay on a four-year deal worth 77-million dollars while Hobbs accepted 48-million over the same number of years.
Banks became a dependable starting left guard for the San Francisco 49ers beginning in 2022. This likely means that 2-time Pro Bowl lineman Elgton Jenkins will move to Center. Banks has given up just 1 sack in nearly 900 pass-blocking snaps since 2023.
Hobbs had one interception and 49 tackles in 11 games as a cornerback for the Las Vegas Raiders last season. He was ranked 11th in coverage success among cornerbacks targeted at least 40 times last year.
