(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers host the Indiana Hoosiers tonight.
One of the keys to succss for the Badgers so far this season, according to Badgers coach Greg Gard, is the play of John Tonje.
Gard talked about Tonje being named to the Oscar Robertson Trophy mid-season watch list.
As for Carter Gilmore who played a key role in this past weekend’s win over Northwestern, Gard said that he couldn’t be happier for a player who has stayed loyal to the program.
Gard said that he has a lockerroom full of coachable players.
As for the Hoosiers, Gard said that the Badgers will have their hands full with Oumar Ballo and Indiana.
Indiana is 5-6 in the Big Ten Conferenced and 14-8 overall.
The Badgers are 17-5 overall and 7-4 in the Big Ten Conference.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight.
