(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Bucks ended their 6-game losing streak with a 123-100 win over the Utah Jazz Thursday night at FiServ Forum in Milwaukee.
The Bucks trailed 71-70 late in the third quarter when Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokoummpo combined for 15 points in a 17-1 run that put the Bucks in charge of the game.
Lillard finished with 34 points while Antetokounmpo had 31 points and 16 rebounds.
Different for the Bucks Thursday night was Andre Jackson Jr. being moved into the starting lineup with Gary Trent Jt coming off the bench.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers talked about on Andre Jackson Jr., being more aggressive and will be in the starting lineup moving forward.
Rivers went further into what Jackson will do as a starter.
Jackson scored just 7 points in 28 minutes but he also had 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
Bobby Portis and AJ Green added 19 and 12 points off the bench for the Bucks.
Rivers talked about Green’s performance.
Lillard said this was a much needed win.
Utah was led by Jordan Clarkson with 18 points.
The Bucks take on the New York Knicks tonight with the pre-game on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL beginning at 6 p.m.
