The driver of the Number-5 car shot up from seventh to first over the final 20-plus laps to kiss the bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time in his career.
Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell and Bubba Wallace rounded out the Top-Five finishers.
The NASCAR Cup Series is now on a break before the field rolls into Richmond Raceway for the Cook Out 400 on August 11th.
