VILLAGE OF HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — From the summer to the winter, the new Howard Commons Activity Complex has created a space for people of all ages to enjoy the seasons.
The state-of-the-art location made its debut just before the fall season with its Biergarten which has now transformed into a winter wonderland.
“…10 local beers on tap. Nothing domestic, all from local area breweries,” said Melissa Martinson, the Director of the Howard Commons Activity Complex.
Beginners and pros can also enjoy more seasonal fun on the Ice Skating Rink, open now, for its very first winter.
Kate Lucas, a member of the Kicks Synchronized Skating Group, shared why she loves to get out on the ice each year: “I like figure skating so much, just the feeling when you first get on the ice is absolutely magical.”
Overall, the village is ready to kickstart the holiday season.
“We just encourage everyone to come and check out our beautiful space,” added Martinson.
Don’t forget to check out a cozy Biergloo in this family-friendly atmosphere, registration begins on Dec. 1.
