ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Packers are reminding fans attending Sunday’s home opener to download the latest version of the Packers app on their mobile device before heading to Lambeau Field.
In a news release sent Tuesday, the Packers asked all fans and game attendees to update the app prior to gameday to avoid issues accessing their tickets.
“Aside from a fresh look and enhanced functionality, the newest version of the app features critical updates to the app’s integration with Ticketmaster. Because of these changes, fans and ticket holders must update their Packers app prior to arriving at Lambeau Field in order to access their tickets to Sunday’s game through the app. Fans who do not update their Packers app before gameday will not be able to access their tickets through the app,” the news release states.
To download or update the Packers app, iOS users should visit the Apple App Store and Android users should visit the Google Play Store.
Individuals who cannot download or update the Packers app can still access their game tickets using their digital wallet or a web browser.
After updating their Packers app, fans should ensure they are logged into their account by:
Tapping “Account” at the top right of the app
Selecting “My Packers Account”
Tapping “Sign in to Packers”
Following all login prompts using their Ticketmaster account information
It is also recommend that game attendees add any tickets being used at Lambeau Field this season to their smartphone’s digital wallet, which ensures the tickets can be accessed regardless of internet connectivity at stadium gates.
The Packers app also offers an interactive stadium map, stadium A-Z guide, carry-in information, opportunities to win prizes and access exclusive Packers content.
