APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A vehicle on fire inside an Appleton garage caused an estimated $75,000 worth of damage Wednesday afternoon.
The Appleton Fire Department says it responded to reports of a structure fire in the 100 block of S. Fidelis Street around 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, crews were able to see smoke and flames. Firefighters removed the flaming vehicle from the garage and within five minutes of arriving extinguished the fire in the vehicle and within the garage.
The fire is currently under investigation and a cause has not yet been determined.
There were no injuries reported.
