GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay police say residents should be cautious after the department received multiple reports of phone scam.
Officers say there is a person claiming to be from the police department, calling residents and telling them they have a warrant to pay.
The person is even somehow using the police department’s number to make it appear legitimate.
If you receive a phone call like this, you shouldn’t give any personal or financial information and hang up. From there, call the police department at (920) 448-3200.
