The second verse will hopefully be as good as the first for the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers finished the season’s opening month of April with an 18-10 record, 5th best in the major leagues. They open the second month with a six game trip out west beginning with a three game set against the Colorado Rockies in Denver. Freddy Peralta will face Ryan Feltner in the series opener at Coors Field. Pre-game coverage begins at 7:05 PM with a 7:40 PM first pitch on WTAQ.
The Brewers now have a better idea when Brandon Woodruff will be able to return to the mound. Woodruff was placed on the 10 day injured list on April 22 with shoulder tightness. Following an examination, it was determined that Woodruff has a more serious sub-scapular strain that will need extra time to heal without surgery. Milwaukee is hopeful Woodruff will be able to get back on the mound by the end of June, until then, the All-Star says he’s just going to have to remain patient.
