New Green Bay Phoenix men’s basketball Head Coach Sundance Wicks has announced the hires of his coaching staff. Wicks is bringing aboard Pat Monaghen as his top assistant. Monaghen spent the last four years as an assistant coach at Southern Illinois. He also was an assistant at UW-Milwaukee for three years. Zack Malvik was the associate Head Coach at Division II Winona State and Nic Reynolds is a former assistant from Southern Arkansas. The next order of business is filling up a roster depleted by more than a half dozen players who are leaving the program through the transfer portal after the worst season in Phoenix history at 3-29. Wicks will have his first opportunity to coach the remaining players during a handful of on-floor practice dates next month.
