GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oudy Weber pleaded not guilty Thursday for allegedly trying to hire another jail inmate to kill his girlfriend.
No trial date was set for Weber, 28. He returns to court April 19 for a motions hearing, court records show.
Prosecutors say Weber offered $25,000 to the inmate, and supplied specific information about the woman, her residence, vehicle and habits. The inmate Weber approached recorded some of their conversations discussing the deal, according to the criminal complaint.
Weber denied wanting to hurt the woman, saying “No she’s my girl,” the complaint states.
