MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Manitowoc Police Department is offering a reward, after an incident involving a stolen vehicle and fraudulent checks.
Police say they are offering up to a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the vehicle theft and check forgery.
The vehicle was stolen on Jan. 2 and has since been recovered. However, the stolen checkbook has been used to forge and cash several checks in the Brown County area.
Police obtained video surveillance, which shows the suspect attempting to cash the forged checks. It also shows the SUV the suspect was driving.
