MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Wisconsin Badgers football team will face Oklahoma State Cowboys in the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bowl on Dec. 27. The game will be played in Chase Field in Phoenix, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The game is set to be televised on ESPN with kickoff at 9:15 p.m.
The Badgers finished the season 6-6 overall and 4-5 in the Big 10 Conference. The Cowboys finished their season 7-5 overall and 4-5 in the Big 12.
UW head coach Luke Fickell said he’s excited for the opportunity for his players to take on Oklahoma State.
This will be the Badgers 21st consecutive season playing in a bowl game– the third longest active bowl streak in the country behind Georgia (26) and Oklahoma (24).
