The Green Bay Phoenix women made it seven wins in a row by holding off Oakland University 61-57 Thursday night in Michigan. Hailey Oskey again paced the Phoenix with 18 points as they held a 10 point, fourth quarter lead until the Grizzlies tightened up the game with an 8-0 run. Maddie Schreiber ended the threat with a hoop as the GB ladies improved to 14-5 on the season, 10-3 in Horizon League play. They’ll finish up the weekend trip against Detroit Mercy on Saturday afternoon.
