LESSOR, WI (WTAQ) — A third person has died as a result of an auto shop explosion in Shawano County.
It happened at a repair shop in the town of Lessor on Friday afternoon.
Sheriff’s detective Richard Wright says that four people were inside when the explosion happened.
A preliminary investigation shows that a pressurized gas canister was punctured, causing the explosion.
The dead were identified as 52-year-old Timothy Cook Sr of Oshkosh and 49-year-old Kenrick Larson of Neenah. 60-year old James Moon died at the hospital. A 45-year-old Kenesha woman has survived but remains in the hospital.
