GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — WisDOT believes they’ll be able to get the Mason Street Bridge up and running again by the end of the month.
Engineers today announced that they’ve figured out what went wrong last week when the bridge became stuck in the open position on July 6th and will be able to begin repairs.
Corroded bolts were determined to be the cause of the problem.
WisDOT found no structural issues with the bridge and says that once fixed, it will be safe to cross.
