GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The City Council approved 22 polling places for the Feb. 16 primary election during a special meeting Friday.
The list includes mostly churches, with a few public facilities, including a fire station, the bus station, Wildlife Sanctuary, and UW-Green Bay.
There was no debate, and the list was approved unanimously.
The city was criticized for consolidating voting in the April, 2020, election from 31 locations to just two. Additional sites, including multi-ward sites, were added for the fall elections.
The spring primary is Feb. 16. Among the races will be a statewide primary for state Supt. of Public Instruction.
