SEYMOUR, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A person drowned in a Seymour lake over the weekend.
On Saturday before 3 p.m., crews were called to Lake Park for a report of a person that went under water and did not resurface.
When police arrived on scene, they got into the water to look for the person but couldn’t find them.
Additional resources were called for search and recovery efforts.
A body was later pulled from the water.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
Lake Park reopened Sunday to the public. A ‘Swim at Your Own Risk’ sign is posted by the lake.
